What it is
Breaking the mold of aesthetic laser products.
Considered by top aesthetic scientists and engineers to be one of the world’s most advanced resurfacing laser technologies, ZoomScan is a full-field skin resurfacing solution that puts you in total control of your patient’s resurfacing experience.
What it is
Competitive lasers, like CO2, have a fixed ratio of coagulation to ablation, and there is no way to separate the two.
Sciton’s ZoomScan technology decouples coagulation and ablation, allowing for precise application of each. For providers, this means dialing in the exact response needed to address each patients skin concern, desired outcome, and tolerance for downtime.
Capabilities of ZoomScan
The ZoomScan handpiece delivers a range of popular and well-known treatments.
NanoLaserPeel. The NanoLaserPeel treatment accomplished via the ZoomScan handpiece is a great complement to facial injectables. It’s a short-downtime, light treatment that removes the topmost layer (<10um) of skin to restore natural smoothness and provide a vibrant glow. If you want to offer a sophisticated substitute for a chemical peel or microdermabrasion to correct dullness or photo-damage, the NanoLaserPeel can accomplish a precise peel effect with less downtime.
MicroLaserPeel. The MicroLaserPeel is a minimal downtime, light resurfacing treatment limited to the epidermis that evens out skin tone, texture & color, and restores a healthy-looking, youthful glow to the skin. As the skin heals, fresh cells grow and resurface the treated area. The result is healthier-looking skin with reduced wrinkles and improved color evenness. Patients often say that it looks like their skin went from looking tired to vibrant.
Deep Resurfacing. ZoomScan can reach up to 300 microns of ablation per pass, with or without variable depth coagulation. For deep-set wrinkles, rough texture, or scar tissue, Deep Resurfacing is a highly effective treatment for those patients looking to delay or eliminate the need for more invasive surgery.
ZoomScan can treat all skin types both on face and body.
